Jessica Simpson is an American pop star, television star, actress and fashion entrepreneur. Born in 1980 in Texas, Simpson made her initial success in the gospel circuit, but her biggest success would come as a pop star during the late 1990s boom of teen pop in the recording industry. Her debut pop album, "Sweet Kisses," sold two million copies in the United States. Simpson is also noted for her fashion line, Jessica Simpson Collection, which produces clothing, handbags and shoes and is one of her most successful business ventures to date.
Simpson entered the perfume world in 2004, partnering with the founder of the Clean line, Randi Shinder, to produce a line of edible lip glosses, perfumes and cosmetics called Dessert Beauty and aimed at a young market.
Simpson partnered with Parlux fragrances in 2008 to launch a more mature perfume, ''Fancy'', whose success has spawned multiple flankers.
Designer Jessica Simpson has 15 perfumes in their fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 2004 and the newest is from 2014. Jessica Simpson fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Alexis Dadier, Celine Barel, Steve Demercado, Cecile Hua and Marypierre Julien.
